Mixed Media Art Class 🎨✨

Ages 5–12 | 1.5 Hours Weekly | 6 or 12 Weeks

Let your imagination run wild! In this exciting new class, young artists will learn how to design their very own original characters and bring them to life using a variety of art mediums!

The program is divided into two 6-week sessions, each focusing on developing a unique character from start to finish.

🎨 First 6 Weeks: Character Creation & Exploration

Students will design their first original character and explore different ways to bring it to life through drawing, watercolour painting, oven-bake clay, and pottery clay.

✏️ Second 6 Weeks: Manga, Sculpture & Storytelling

Students will create a second character while exploring manga-inspired drawing techniques, facial expressions, storytelling, and character development. They'll also turn their designs into three-dimensional sculptures!

Throughout the program, kids will experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques, develop their creativity, and learn how to express personality and emotions through their artwork.

No previous art experience is needed! Just curiosity, creativity, and a love for making art!

Choose your class

drop-off → you can arrive up to 5 minutes before class starts.
pick-up → please come anytime in the last 5 minutes before class ends.
different pick-up person? → let the instructor know at drop-off if someone else will be picking up your child.
older kids walking home? → please also let us know at drop-off if your child has permission to leave on their own.

✨ thanks for helping us start and end the day on time — it keeps the whole studio running like a well-oiled paintbrush.

cancellations → we do not offer refunds at any time. if you need to cancel, we can issue a 30-day credit (to be used on future camps or classes). No credit issued after the session has begun.
late pick-up → please be on time. late pick-ups may result in a fee ($25/20 min/child) — and a very grumpy instructor.
drop-off only → parents don’t stay during class — kids get the most out of it when they’re fully on their own.
finished artwork → most pieces take about 2 weeks to be glazed or fired. we can hold finished artwork for up to 2 months only. please pick up by this time.
